Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Mission Hills, California. This role involves providing high-quality care in the Labor and Delivery department of an acute care hospital. The position is suitable for experienced RNs with a focus on maternal and neonatal health, supporting a busy environment with a patient census of approximately 12 per day. Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: California state license in hand, ACLS, AWHONN advanced, BLS, NRP certifications; a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; previous experience circulating for cesarean sections; experience in a high-volume maternity setting with at least 200 deliveries per month; ability to see the clinical team as capable and competent. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working at a facility with a similar patient mix and delivery volume; familiarity with Epic charting system. Float: Float rotation may be required between units. Additional Information: The candidate must be available to start on 09/14/2026, with a commitment to working three of the five major holidays. The role involves team support with interdisciplinary services such as respiratory, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams. Emergency procedures and obstetric skills are essential for success in this role.
