Diesel Mechanic

Diesel Mechanic Pay: $35–$45/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Benefits: PTO, paid holidays, and 401(k) match We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, and other components Perform inspections and identify equipment issues Troubleshoot fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and diagnostic information Perform welding and fabrication as needed Maintain accurate service and repair records Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Qualifications: Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic Strong diesel engine diagnostic and repair experience Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems Ability to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty equipment Experience with preventative maintenance Welding/fabrication experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Equal Opportunity Employer: We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
