About the Position

Job Title: ICU RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 8 or 13 weeks Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an acute care setting License: Current nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC preferred Must-Have: Experience in a specialty with changing patient acuity Description: ICU RN needed for a fast-paced observation unit. The environment requires adaptability due to changing patient acuity. Floating to other areas of competency may be required. Staffing for a 28-bed inpatient observation unit. The unit includes medical beds and trauma overflow beds. Patients will range from lower to higher acuity levels, including mid-holds. Holidays may be required as part of the staffing expectations.
