Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, goal setting, and progress monitoring
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues and families
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
• Organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling requirements

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to a caseload of 18 students in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs)
• Develop, implement, and track IEP goals and objectives, maintaining compliance with all federal and state regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff to ensure student success
• Maintain consistent communication with families regarding student progress and development
• Create a safe and positive classroom atmosphere that fosters student growth, independence, and confidence
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities
