Any experience in 3.5 GHz CBRS is a plus.Design expertise in macro network, small cell as well as heterogeneous networks.Ability and experience in site survey, site selection, site configuration.Ability to code in GIS tools such as ArcGIS, ArcMap, MapInfo.RF Tools such as ATOLL, Atoll ACP, and iBwave.Link budget, coverage and capacity dimensioning, monte Carlo simulations etc.The individual will help in designing outdoor, indoor as well as mixed environments.5G-NR/LTE experience such as gNB/antenna selection, capacity analysis, testing, understanding of different 3GPP releases is plusNetwork design related statistics, work with different technologies to determine where coverage/capacity might be required to reach more customers.Familiarity with 3GPP Rel 15+ features, 5G-NR Architecture, SA and NSA modes.Good understanding of 5G-NR concepts, Air Interface, Call Processing, Dynamic Spectrum Sharing etc.Site consolidation, worst cell optimization and propose solutions for capacity needs.KPI monitoring and fault finding.Field experience in collection of data. i.e, drive testing, data collection for model tuningSkills in offloading analysis, network planningAbility to write Macros in VBAAttention to details and motivation to learn and grow.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Post launch optimization and performance improvement.Charter has in house processes and tools. This individual will help support in enhancing and creating these processes and tools. Therefore, it’s important that the individual has the motivation to venture outside general RF expertise.Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Master Degree is preferred.Any RF Design certifications is a plus i.e iBwave certifications.Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision, collaborate with teammates and cross-functional groups, communicate on the level of others, listen and understand people in circumstances common in the workplace.Attention to details and accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks; being watchful over a period of time.Independent work style and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Strongly motivated individual willing to learn new technologies and concepts.Must be flexible to travel if needed.
