Psychiatric RN Opportunity | Pensacola, FL | Up to $40/hr | Per Diem Available

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a residential behavioral health program in Pensacola, FL . This position provides care to adolescents ages 7-17 in a structured residential treatment setting focused on mental health and substance use treatment services.

Position Highlights

• RN - Psychiatric

• Pay: $40/hour

• Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• 36 hours per week available

• 8-week contract

• Start Date: September 28, 2026

• Per Diem opportunities also available

About the Facility Work with a residential treatment program serving Medicaid-eligible youth with serious emotional disturbances. The program provides 24-hour care, mental health treatment, and substance use prevention and treatment services in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Support patients experiencing mental health and behavioral health challenges

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality patient care

Requirements

• Active Florida RN License

• Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience

• Current CPR certification

• Ability to meet all state, federal, and facility requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Orientation & Training Comprehensive paid orientation includes:

• Virtual corporate orientation

• EHR training

• CPI training (online and in-person)

• Additional site-specific onboarding
