Medical Disability Evaluator (NP/PA/MD/Psych D) Job Type: 1099 / Independent Contractor Location: Fort Polk, LA Schedule: 2-5 days per week based on availability Summary We are seeking experienced MDs or DOs to perform disability compensation evaluations. This is an evaluation-only position focused on conducting clinical assessments, reviewing medical information, and preparing accurate medical opinions. There is no prescribing, active treatment, or ongoing patient care involved. Schedule 8-hour sessions Weekdays and weekends available 2-5 days per week Flexible based on provider availability Responsibilities Conduct thorough disability compensation evaluations. Review relevant medical records and clinical information. Document findings accurately using standardized templates. Provide evidence-based medical opinions and causation assessments. Ensure reports meet federal, state, and organizational requirements. Conduct assessments through virtual telehealth platforms when applicable. Qualifications Active, unrestricted Medical License.
