Our team is composed of skilled professionals who are passionate about maritime services and committed to excellence.The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all technical, schedule, financial and other activities associated with assigned ship repair projects. This role requires a detail-oriented and strategic individual who can manage the financial health of ship repair projects while maintaining compliance with technical, safety and quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with the Vice President of Operations and other Project Managers to monitor and report progress status.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOverall management responsibilities for assigned projectsStaff and supervise trades personnel appropriate to size of projectsMonitor and track project and operational goals to include established objectives relating to financial, quality, safety or other objectivesMonitor and track program/project performance metrics to include gross/net profit, schedule and qualityIdentify out-of-scope work and seek compensation for program changesWrite required and / or otherwise necessary conditions found reports (CFRs), track and bring to conclusionInterface with prime contractor customers – maintain and grow customer base in market areaEnsure safety and quality procedures are in compliance with local requirements and are followedEnsure company policies are followed by all personnel under your supervisionEnsure compliance with customer contracts, federal, state and local laws and regulationsEnsure compliance with EIMB, EPISM and Electrical MIL standards as applicableExperience RequirementsFive (5) years' experience in project management of shipboard electrical installation and repair services Bachelor's Degree with two (2) years' experience can be substituted for the aboveUnderstanding of NAVSEA Standard Items, ABS and other industry related guidelines as applicable to various programsUnderstanding of EIMB, EPISM and Electrical MIL standardsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be a U.S. CitizenOther RequirementsMust be able to pass Waveforce Electrical pre-employment drug and background screening.Must be able to obtain government facility and/or shipyard access, to include a DBIDS credential, as required by work locationsAbility to travel if required (estimated travel <25%)BenefitsCompetitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive health, dental, vision and other insurance.Retirement savings planPaid time off and holidays.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
