The University of New England College of Dental Medicine (UNECDM) invites applications for full-time (1.0FTE) 12-month clinical track positions in Prosthodontics at the Assistant Clinical Professor, Associate Clinical Professor, or Clinical Professor rank, dependent upon experience and credentials. Located on UNE's Portland Campus for the Health Sciences, UNECDM is the only dental school in a region where access to quality oral healthcare is a persistent challenge, especially in rural areas. Responsibilities - The Prosthodontics faculty member will serve in the Department of Restorative & Clinical Sciences. Core responsibilities will include didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction and curriculum development; mentoring pre-doctoral students; after-hours emergency call coverage (by rotation); and participation in college, university, and community service. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Interviews of qualified candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Qualifications - Qualified candidates must possess a D.D.S./D.M.D. degree, or international equivalent and have successfully completed the NBDE Parts I & II or the INBDE. By the position start date, the candidate must have completed a CODA-accredited graduate program in Prosthodontics; must be Board Certified, or eligible for Board Certification, as a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics; and must have active Maine Board of Dental Practice licensure (full/faculty).
