Key Responsibilities\n

  • Provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing major mental illness and severe emotional disorders, conducting assessments and therapy sessions that may include individual, group, and family formats.

  • Engage actively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to shared objectives and working collaboratively to enhance client outcomes.

  • Conduct thorough, evidence-based screenings that are culturally sensitive and suited to clients' developmental needs, facilitating referrals for further assessments when necessary.

  • Develop and implement integrated care plans that ensure clients have access to comprehensive services tailored to their unique needs.

  • Carry a designated caseload of clients, ensuring regular monitoring of their treatment plans and progress toward recovery, while adapting strategies as needed based on their feedback and evolving circumstances.

  • Participate in on-call duties as assigned, providing crisis intervention support and managing urgent client needs outside of regular hours.

  • Maintain adherence to ethical guidelines and the code of conduct established by the organization, ensuring the highest standards of care and professionalism.

  • Contribute to quality improvement efforts by participating in relevant committees, providing feedback on service delivery, and implementing best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on patients in hospice care, many of whom face complex emotional and psychological challenges during end-of-life transitions. You will work compassionately with clients and their families, addressing mental health needs, and providing essential support in navigating their feelings and experiences. A sensitive and thoughtful approach is crucial in this environment, as you assist clients in finding meaning and dignity in their final stages of life.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required.

  • Current and valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee is mandatory.

  • Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience involving direct patient care, particularly in mental health or hospice settings.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, promoting a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 70,000 and 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
