Job Description
ROLE - SPECIALTY
Cardiac Telemetry / PCU / Stepdown Registered Nurse

Schedule
- Shift: 12-hour Nights
- Weekend coverage: approximately every other weekend

Assignment Details
- Contract length: 13-26 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience required
- Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
- Required clinical skills:
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and remote monitoring
- Pre/post cardiac cath and pre/post cardiac surgery care
- Sheath removal and TR band/Femstop management
- Accessing ports, central line/PICC care, blood product administration
- Cardiac drip titration (diltiazem, amiodarone)
- Required: ACLS
- Preferred: NIHSS

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and manage dysrhythmias
- Administer vasoactive medications and titrate cardiac drips
- Provide care for patients undergoing cardiac interventions
- Participate in rapid response/code team as needed

Compliance / Notes
- Strict RTO policy; RTO must be pre-approved
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved for certain circumstances; must work 2 of 3 major holidays
- Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to start
- All pre-start modules required before beginning work
- Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required
