Oak Ridge Home Remodeling is a high-quality residential design and build remodeling company in Montgomery County, PA, and has an immediate opening for a full-time Lead Carpenter with kitchen/bath remodeling skills to join our team.

Summery:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Carpenter to spearhead our construction and remodeling projects from start to finish. In this role, you will be the primary technical expert on-site, responsible for performing master-level carpentry while supervising and coordinating subcontractors to ensure every detail meets our rigorous standards for quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Complete and oversee the daily operations of on-site remodeling projects.
• Perform framing, structural assemblies, and intricate finish carpentry tasks at a high level.
• Interpret architectural blueprints, sketches, and building plans to ensure precise execution of project specifications.
• Coordinate the delivery and staging of building materials to maintain an efficient project schedule.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes and OSHA safety regulations.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections to identify and rectify any structural or aesthetic deficiencies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times to minimize hazards and delays.
• Communicate project progress, material needs, and potential challenges to project management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in residential carpentry required.
• Minimum of 5 years of kitchen and bath remodeling experience required.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Complete understanding of the materials & installation aspects of kitchen/bath remodeling.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs.
• Deep knowledge of building science, including moisture management and structural load-bearing requirements.
• Strong mathematical skills for performing complex layouts and material take-offs.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing site conditions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and inspectors.
• Proven ability to lead project and manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the construction industry.Tile installation expertise is preferred.
• Journeyman status or vocational certification in carpentry is highly preferred.Ability to do light plumbing & electrical work.
• Managing the layout of foundations, walls, and roof systems with a high degree of accuracy is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and the physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite a plus.
• NARI Certified PM, CLC, or CR candidates highly encouraged to apply
