FirstLight Home Care of Sandy Springs is seeking a confident, dependable, and compassionate caregiver to support an adult male client in the Buckhead area.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience. Paid Time Off Paid Training Tuition Assistance / Tuition Reimbursement

This is a private-pay home care opportunity ideal for caregivers who enjoy building strong one-on-one relationships, providing companionship, supporting mobility, and helping clients maintain dignity and independence at home.

The ideal caregiver is calm under pressure, physically capable, attentive, engaging, and comfortable supporting an adult male client with dementia-related needs, supervision, mobility assistance, and personal care routines.

Responsibilities Include: • Companion care and social engagement • Dementia supervision and redirection • Sitting services and safety monitoring • Mobility assistance and transfer support • Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting • Walking support and fall prevention awareness • Light housekeeping and meal assistance • Encouraging structure, routine, and positive daily interaction

Ideal Candidates Are: • Comfortable supporting personal and private care needs for an adult male client • Physically capable of assisting with mobility support and transfers using safe body mechanics • Experienced with dementia, memory care, or behavioral support preferred • Dependable, calm, observant, and professional • Strong communicators who can build trust and rapport • Comfortable working in a higher-end private home environment

Preferred Experience: • Dementia or Alzheimer’s care • Mobility assistance and transfer support • Companion care or private-duty home care • Hoyer lift or gait belt experience a plus
