Machine Operator Job Details: Schedule: Monday-Thursday - 12 hour shifts 7:30 AM -7:30 PM or 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM Pay Rate: $22.00/hour Must be able to train Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM for 1 month Temp to Hire Opportunity Selling Points about the Machine Operator role: Competitive starting pay at $22.00/hour w/ $1.00 increase upon conversion Hands-on experience with extrusion and manufacturing equipment Opportunity to expand your machine operating and troubleshooting skills Work alongside experienced Lead Operators and production leadership Fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment Great opportunity for candidates looking to grow their manufacturing career Machine Operator Job Description: Assist the Lead Operator and Shift Supervisor with operating extrusion equipment Support machine setup, startup, shutdown, and product changeovers Load raw materials, including resins, additives, and colorants, into hoppers and feeders Monitor extrusion lines and report equipment or production issues Perform visual inspections and basic measurements to ensure product quality Remove, package, and label finished products according to specifications Clean and prepare tooling and equipment during changeovers Assist operators and maintenance with minor troubleshooting and machine adjustments Transport raw materials and finished products using pallet jacks or forklifts when certified Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow 5S and safety standards Machin Operator Requirements: 1+ year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Comfortable working around heat, noise, and moving machinery Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs Comfortable bending, reaching, kneeling, climbing stairs or ladders, and working at various heights Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe footwear PeopleShare provides equal opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, religion, color, age, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic disposition, neurodiversity, disability, veteran status, or any other protected category or class under federal, state, and/or local laws.
