Licensed Practical Nurse - NYP Medical Group Brooklyn - Primary Care & Multispecialty The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care as delegated by and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Contributes to the plan of patient care and assists in providing a therapeutic environment. Functions within the policies and procedures of the hospital, divisions, and the Clinical Nursing Departments. Work schedule: 37.5 scheduled work week, Monday‑Friday with one Saturday a month; varied schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 50 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY. Must be willing to travel to cover other Brooklyn medical group locations. Required Criteria Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Current licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State. Phlebotomy skills. Knowledge of principles of infection control. Knowledge of principles of performance improvements. Knowledge of principles of delegation. Preferred Criteria Specialty practice experience. Travel expenses are not reimbursed.
