Senior Accountant - Lease Accounting Compensation: $85k - $95k + 7.5% annual bonus + unlimited PTO + 401k matching (4% matching) What You’ll Be Doing This role offers broad exposure across accounting and finance, with responsibilities evolving alongside company growth. Key responsibilities include: Support the monthly close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries in accordance with reporting requirements Analyze and validate income statement activity related to equipment and real estate leases Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and roll forwards; identify and resolve reconciling items Research and apply technical accounting guidance, particularly related to complex lease accounting (ASC 842) Partner with Treasury on finance lease activity, including new financings and lease buyouts Prepare financial statement disclosures for quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) filings Assist with quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting processes Support SOX compliance by performing key internal controls related to lease accounting Participate in quarterly reviews and annual external audit processes Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA candidate preferred 2–5+ years of experience in public accounting or a large/public company environment Strong understanding of GAAP and ability to apply guidance to new transactions Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the full Office Suite Experience with SAP or other large ERP systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute in a hands‑on environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
