The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the "Jewel of the Desert" since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration. It has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space spread out over the beautiful property, 9 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 poolside bars, a gelato shop/caf, and in-room dining), a luxury spa, and 7 pools including a 65' waterslide. Arizona Biltmore is a LXR Hotel & Resort by Hilton which is a hand-selected collection of unique luxury hotels, offering bespoke service and personal adventures in the world's most intriguing locations. McArthur's Server Assistant is responsible for setting and clearing dining tables, stocking service stations, and assisting the Server in delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Essential Functions

• Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
• Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair.
• Stock, maintain and clean designated food stations.
• Assist Server with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc.
• Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Follow all policies and procedures of the hotel and department.
• Complete all sidework and assist with other duties as assigned by management.

This is a Full-Time position, you must be available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.

What are we looking for?

Experience

• Prior food and beverage experience, preferred
• Prior customer service experience, preferred
• Prior luxury / upscale dining experience, preferred

Licenses or Certificates

• Maricopa Food Handlers Card
