Located in Saint Paul, MN Heavy Equipment/Truck Mechanic Starting Pay $39.00 - $45.00 Depending on Experience! Basic Tools needed company provides specialty tools All you need to be successful in this role is Mechanical Knowledge, a Driver's License, and a good work ethic! Responsibilities Heavy Equipment/Truck Mechanic- Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions
- Reads & understands hydraulic & electrical schematics
- Troubleshoots and repairs diesel engines (Cummins, Volvo-penta).
- Performs maintenance & mechanical repairs on Side loaders (Loaded Container Handler), Hostlers (Terminal Tractor) , Forklifts, support equipment, etc.
- Maintains routine maintenance schedules on all Heavy Terminal Fleet equipment
- On Call for weekends (every 5 weeks)
- Other duties as assigned
- 2 year heavy equipment mechanical repair and maintenance experience required
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Diesel experience needed
- Open availability
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Hydraulic and electrical is a plus but not required
- Previous crane repair and/or maintenance is preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be willing to complete a drug screen, and background check
