Security Officer Patrol Operations – Palmetto, GA Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Wed: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Thur: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Fri: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Sat: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor entrances, exits, and/or vehicle traffic related to shipping and receiving operations, assisting with visitor management, credential checks, and other security-related procedures. Support Allied Universal and site leadership by communicating observed hazards, operational disruptions, and/or maintenance concerns that could impact daily location activities. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
