Travel RN - Labor & Delivery - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our team for the night shift. You will work in a busy unit that provides comprehensive care to expectant mothers and their newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement care for patients in labor.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and perform procedures such as D&C and cerclage placements.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal conditions using advanced fetal monitoring techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal care for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN.
• Preferred: Experience with Meditech EMR, PACU, and OR.
