Industrial Electrician

Industrial ElectricianThis role focuses on planning, installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of complex industrial electrical equipment and circuitry within a manufacturing environment. You will work with electric motors, digital drives, high-voltage circuits, and electrical control panels, ensuring reliable operation of plant equipment through troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and support for equipment changeovers.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years of experience working as an industrial electrician, ideally in a manufacturing environment.Proven ability to troubleshoot using electrical diagrams and schematics.Strong experience in electrical troubleshooting of industrial equipment and machinery.Hands-on experience with control wiring, including installation, termination, and troubleshooting.Demonstrated PLC troubleshooting skills, including understanding and interpreting ladder logic and checking PLC inputs and outputs.Experience with Rockwell PLCs and familiarity with RSLogix 5000 and GE PLC platforms.Complete understanding of AC and DC circuits, including 100V, 200V, 480V, and 2300V circuitry.Experience working with 480V systems and three-phase motors.Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot VFDs and digital drives.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and control diagrams.Experience with manufacturing equipment and machinery repair in an industrial setting.Ability to adhere to preventative maintenance schedules and complete work orders accurately.Mechanical troubleshooting skills, including work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Proficiency in using electrical measurement devices to diagnose and verify system performance.Good, stable job history demonstrating reliability and consistency in prior roles.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with servo systems and their troubleshooting.Familiarity with hydraulic systems and their interaction with electrical controls.Familiarity with pneumatic systems and their integration with industrial machinery.Experience installing and maintaining conduit and control panels in an industrial environment.Comfort working on both electrical and mechanical aspects of equipment, with the ability to interpret schematics for both disciplines.Willingness to work third shift and adapt to training on first shift during an initial probationary period.Ability to progress through skill levels or grades based on performance and hours worked.Job Type & LocationThis is a permanent position based out of Carlisle, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $78936.00 - $82056.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. There are multiple grades for the role and candidates can progress through work hours completed and pay will increase accordingly.
