About the Position

We are seeking an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 7-day assignment in Nevada. Starting Nov 25, 2025, this role involves an outpatient schedule, typically 8 AM to 5 PM with an unpaid lunch. The successful candidate will perform focused evaluations, manage work-related injuries and illnesses, provide Department of Transportation physicals, and complete necessary documentation for employers and regulatory bodies. Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform focused evaluations and physical exams for work-related injuries and illnesses
• Diagnose and manage common musculoskeletal injuries, minor head injuries, chest and abdominal trauma, and suspected hernias
• Treat lacerations including suturing and wound care
• Remove superficial eye foreign bodies and manage non-vision-threatening eye injuries
• Evaluate and treat occupational skin conditions and work-related respiratory symptoms including asthma
• Perform DOT physicals in compliance with FMCSA guidelines
• Provide return-to-work determinations and work restrictions
• Complete workers’ compensation and regulatory documentation accurately
• Communicate care plans with employers and refer complex cases as appropriate

• Board Certifications: Occupational Medicine
• Other Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Department of Transportation (DOT)
• EMR: Systoc
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• No Call
• Patients per day: 16 on average, all DOT visits
• LOA: 7 Days
• Staffing Mix: MAs, xray tech, full support team
• Types of cases: Common occupational musculoskeletal injuries (neck, back, extremities), work-related head injuries (with or without loss of consciousness), chest or abdominal trauma (including hernias), lacerations (face, extremities), eye foreign bodies and non-penetrating eye injuries, occupational skin conditions, occupational asthma and respiratory symptoms, and DOT physicals
