Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor RN Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing specialized care to adult oncology patients, including administration of chemotherapy, port management, blood product transfusions, and telemetry monitoring. The position requires experience in oncology and a thorough understanding of related procedures within a Magnet and Teaching hospital environment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ACLS, BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), ONS/ONCC certifications; active license in MO or IL (or eligible compact license), minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an oncology setting, and current healthcare provider credentials.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Oncology experience, chemotherapy administration, port management, blood and blood product administration, central line care, PICC line care, IV initiation and maintenance, antibiotics, antiemetics, Foley catheter management, isolation precautions, telemetry monitoring and interpretation.
• Additional Information: Floating is required throughout the oncology department as needed, including to units with the greatest need per shift. Must pass Relias EKG exam. Will be floated to different units, not always the 9800 unit. No local candidates within a 75-mile radius; MO and IL license requirements apply. Candidates must be fully vaccinated against flu; COVID-19 vaccine is not required.
