Maintenance Manager

Our client, in McCook NE , a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Manger to join their team. As a Maintenance Manager , you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting Production, Engineering, and Facilities teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Manager Location: McCook NE Pay Range: 100k– 115k/yr What’s the Job? Supervise and lead Maintenance and Crib team leaders (up to 30 employees), including coaching, training, performance management, and employee development Oversee equipment, facility maintenance, and preventive maintenance scheduling to ensure optimal uptime and efficiency Manage large-scale projects, capital submissions, facility upgrades, and contractor/vendor relationships Develop and maintain budgets while driving cost control initiatives and supporting lean manufacturing efforts Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while fostering innovation and continuous improvement What’s Needed? 5–7 years of hands‑on maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC) Degree preferred but not required, along with strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience with strong leadership skills Electrical background with the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams Experience managing budgets, capital projects, preventive maintenance programs, and large‑scale projects Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization What’s in it for me?
