Exciting Full‑Time Physician Assistant Opportunity in Tarboro, NC! MainStreet Family Care is growing and we are looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly PA to join our team full time. We provide urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant can lead a small team in a high‑volume urgent care environment. We offer support and training, including onboarding, a complementary pediatric urgent care course, and an on‑call provider for decision‑making to help you grow in the role. You will be able to utilize your full scope of practice to treat patients of all ages, keeping your skills sharp and marketable for future opportunities. Your leadership role includes guiding medical assistants and serving as a professional role model. MainStreet clinics serve rural communities that need access to care; we operate 362 days a year and provide tuition reimbursement for qualifying grants. Responsibilities Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues Performing minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal Performing suturing and splinting Providing general orthopedic evaluations and management Reviewing x‑rays (with radiology oversight) Managing general dermatology, eye problems, and EKG interpretations Providing emergency management skills Offering general GYN care Treating children of all ages Providing occupational medicine and telemedicine services Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend, sample below: Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON). Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF).
