What You'll Be DoingAs a cashier at Thrift for a Cause, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers warmly and providing excellent service.
- Operating the cash register and handling transactions accurately.
- Assisting with light lifting and organizing merchandise as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
- Standing during your shift to assist customers and ensure smooth operations.
We’re searching for someone who brings both experience and enthusiasm to the table. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a cashier or customer service role.
- Flexible Schedule: We will work around your schedule, but we need some weekends.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an eye for detail.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform light lifting and stand for the duration of your shift.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
