Qualifications Proficiency in operating and maintaining CNC milling and lathe machines, including vertical and horizontal types. Experience in machining parts or assemblies from various materials for prototype or low-volume production. Ability to create tool paths based on product data and engineering inputs. Skilled in writing CNC programs and reviewing technical documents to ensure production accuracy. Competence in selecting machinery and appropriate settings for differing tasks. Proficient in calculating and setting machining controls, such as speed and coolant flow. Capable of identifying product improvements in collaboration with the engineering team. Aptitude for performing machine maintenance and minor repairs when needed. Precision in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators. Experience in adhering to 5S standards and completing work instructions. Ability to compute dimensions, tolerances, and set up machining equipment.
