Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's healthcare facility in Catonsville, MD. This is a 13 weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Schedule: MondayFriday + every other Saturday

Hours:

• MondayThursday: 7:30 AM4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM2:00 PM
• Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM12:00 PM

Location: Catonsville, MD 21228

Training Location: Columbia, MD 21046

• Baltimore, MD
• Columbia, MD
• Ellicott City, MD
• Elkridge, MD

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 13+ weeks Pay Range: $19-21.37/hr Mileage Reimbursement Rate (if applicable): $0.725 / mile *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens accurately and safely.
• Process and prepare specimens according to established laboratory procedures.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care throughout the collection process.
• Verify patient information and ensure specimens are properly labeled and handled.
• Maintain specimen integrity and follow all applicable safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification(s): Phlebotomy certification required.
• Years of experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of phlebotomy experience REQUIRED
