In this role, you'll lead a team and partner closely with cross-functional leaders to deliver a brand new product from the ground up!Your impact:Collaborate with product management and design teams to understand business needs, growth objectives, and market dynamicsCreate a culture of innovation and technical excellence, encouraging experimentation and exploring new opportunities for company growthDrive continuous improvement in engineering processes, automation, tools, and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and qualityProvide strong leadership to the engineering team, enabling a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvementSet clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for the engineering teams, holding individuals accountable for their deliverablesWhat you bring:Experience - 3+ years of experience working as Software Engineering Manager within a high performing Engineering organization8+ years of experience in software development and delivery owning a highly visible and large technical scope and an in-depth knowledge of software architecturesExperience in building and managing large scale software applications in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentEducation - Ideally looking for a B.A. / B.S. degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldTechnical aptitude - You're technologically savvy and can easily get up to speed on modern tech stacks (we use Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Postgres, Kafka, Kubernetes)Ownership - The pride you put into every aspect of your work is unparalleled and undeniableSuperb communication - Intentional dialogue is a superpower.
