Physical Therapist (PRN/Remote) - Neurology

Position Summary The WashU Med Neurofibromatosis (NF) Center seeks a PRN Physical Therapist to assist the NF Center Coordinator during weekend therapy events for individuals with a diagnosis of Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1). Events are primarily held once a month on Saturdays, and a summer camp one week in August. Some preparation is needed before each event. The Physical Therapist works closely with the NF Center Coordinator, a licensed Occupational Therapist. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Attend all therapy events, including weekends. Complete at‑home preparation prior to each event. Provide reasonable modifications to all therapy activities. Assist individuals during events with the least amount of support needed. Collaborate with occupational therapist on program development. Brainstorm new event ideas. Working Conditions Normal office environment. Typically sits at a desk or table. Uses office equipment. Education & Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. Current licensure to practice as a physical therapist in Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on location. Certifications / Licenses Basic Life Support Certification (Level C) or obtains certification within one month of employment. Valid physical therapist license with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation or the Missouri Division of Professional Registration. Work Experience No specific work experience is required. Skills Patient Care Services. Grade and Salary Grade: C13‑H.
