Southern Health Partners is seeking a dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Douglas County Jail.

This is a great opportunity for a nurse looking for consistent weekend hours, supplemental income, or a part-time schedule that fits around other commitments.

As a member of our healthcare team, you will:

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Complete nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies with professionalism
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and correctional staff
• Promote continuity of care while following established clinical standards and policies
• Provide care in a safe, secure, and structured correctional environment

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in the State of Wisconsin
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a healthcare team
• Previous nursing experience preferred
• Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
