AIC Systems Test Engineering Co-Op

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Systems Test Engineering Co-Op in Danvers, MA to support the Automated Impella Controller sustaining team. The role involves developing and executing system-level integration tests, investigating field issues, and collaborating across engineering disciplines to ensure regulatory compliance and product reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute system-level integration and regression test plans across software, optical, and hardware interfaces
• Investigate field-reported issues in laboratory settings and create reproducible test cases
• Support root-cause analysis for escalations and high-priority corrective action requests
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Software, and Manufacturing teams on verification strategies and regulatory alignment
• Assist with change control, release preparation, and CAPA investigations

Requirements

• Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or related discipline
• SolidWorks or comparable CAD software experience preferred
• Strong design, testing, and analytical skills including statistical analysis
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail
• Authorized to work in the U.S. with no visa sponsorship requirement

Compensation: $23.50–$52.50/hr based on program year, discipline, degree, and experience
