Location: Haig Point Club & Community – Daufuskie Island, South Carolina

We’re seeking a Director of Facilities Maintenance to join our growing, forward-thinking leadership team and help steward the island’s beauty and infrastructure with pride, professionalism, and vision.

  About the Role

The Director of Facilities Maintenance oversees the care, safety, and operational excellence of all Club facilities and infrastructure across Haig Point. From historic buildings to modern amenities, your leadership will ensure that every space reflects the Club’s commitment to excellence, sustainability, and member satisfaction.

This is a role for a hands-on, growth-minded leader—someone who can manage multiple departments while inspiring teams to achieve their best work every day. You’ll lead facilities, home services, housekeeping, and security operations, setting the tone for quality, safety, and service across the community.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor teams across maintenance, housekeeping, home services, and security.
• Oversee the upkeep and functionality of all buildings, systems, and community spaces.
• Plan and execute capital projects and long-term facility improvements.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and operational policies with precision and care.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure member satisfaction through proactive service.
• Champion innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement in all operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in facilities management or maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong financial, operational, and communication skills.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with a love for teamwork and excellence.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish, required
