Regional Sales Manager - US Southeast (GA)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for executing sales and marketing strategies for Jet Parts Engineering (JPE) of our FAA-approved aviation products and services with strategic accounts. The ability to travel is essential to find and close on business opportunities and grow the revenue of the company while providing excellent customer service and custom solutions to our customer base. The primary focus will be on building stronger partnerships with existing customers and finding products and markets to develop. Constant communication with customers as well as the Inside Sales team in Seattle is critical for this role. This position is located in Atlanta, GA on-site position with a "major US operator in the SE region" at one of JPE's key customers.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Identify and research potential new product development opportunities, and coordinate with internal and external teams to pursue and secure them.
• Strengthen partnerships with existing customers to maintain current sales and expand opportunities for JPE existing products.
• Develop comprehensive plans to improve sales and customer service to assigned customers and new potential customers within the region.
• Maintain market knowledge to identify new products and / or new markets to develop.
• Utilize JPE's information systems to track market, product, and customer activities.
• Provide current and future customers with the best customer service in the industry.
• Ensure smooth new part introduction to assigned customers.
• Provide the new product development team with data and hardware to support evaluation of new development projects
• Provide the engineering and certification teams with support as required to develop and certify new products
• Coordinate between engineering and the customer to ensure customer product approval
• Coordinate with the inside sales team any new and updated customers product needs and any in-service issues that need resolution be they technical, logistic, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Experience working in aviation-related role required
• Motivated, self-starter with outgoing personality is a must
• Detail oriented with good analytical reasoning required
• A team player - able to function as member of an extended team operating out of multiple time zones
• Sales experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment handling multiple product lines with strong emphasis on cross selling, price negotiation, and follow-ups
• Must have great communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to communicate using multiple systems and databases including customer relationship management software. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)

EDUCATION:

Four-year degree or equivalent preferred
