Description

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Requirements

Day Shift, 4 x 10s, M - F (rotating day off depending on schedule). Start time between 5:30am and 11am. (varies slightly based on case volume. Must have endoscopy experience, CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, 2 years experience. Outpatient surgery, perioperative experience strongly preferred. Must be comfortable with pre-op and PACU phase II workflows. experience with moderate sedation and rapid patient turnover is a plus. fast- paced outpatient surgery and endoscopy environment. preop open heart patients and total joint patients.

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred

• Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Facility Specific License/Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Department Specific License/Certifications:

• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required

• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
