Job Description

Join the Core Laboratory team at a specialty care hospital in the central region of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This facility is equipped to provide high-quality medical laboratory services and is known for its comprehensive patient care in various specialties, including Heart & Vascular, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehabilitation, and more. The laboratory operates state-of-the-art equipment including Sysmex Xn series, Vitros 5600 Chemistry, and Siemens CS5100 for Coagulation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests in Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, and Urinalysis.
• Perform phlebotomy duties, focusing on accurate blood sampling.
• Collaborate with medical teams to interpret test results and provide quality care.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required Experience

• Experience in Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, and Urinalysis.
• Phlebotomy experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• ASCP certification or equivalent is required.
