Role and Facility Information Practice Details We are seeking an Anesthesiologist to join our team at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH), where you’ll work alongside 10 anesthesiologists and an Anesthesiology Assistant in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our department provides anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical specialties, including orthopedics, urology, ENT, plastics, obstetrics, and gynecology. We offer labour analgesia for approximately 300 deliveries per year, with an epidural rate of 50%, and operate a Preoperative Anesthesia Consultation Clinic two days per week. We welcome candidates with experience in both general and regional anesthesia who are comfortable caring for patients aged 2 and older. While we are looking to fill a full‑time position, we are open to part‑time applicants and are happy to discuss locum opportunities within Interior Health. Leadership development is available through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program.
