Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position is located in a critical access facility in Montana. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care, supporting various surgical specialties, and assisting in both preoperative and post-anesthesia care units. The position offers consistent day shifts with opportunities for on-call duty, including weekends, to ensure comprehensive patient care throughout the surgical process.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license, two years of operating room experience, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), and experience with Epic charting system.
  • Specialty: Operating Room (OR) including perioperative services across multiple surgical specialties such as OBGYN, orthopedics, GI/GS, ENT, Pain management, and Dental procedures.
  • Float: Ability to float within surgical services and assist other departments within scope.
  • On-Call & Weekend: On-call required, including weekends on a rotating basis.
  • Additional Information: The position requires flexibility to work in various surgical areas including pre-op, post-op, circulating, PACU, and Endoscopy. Must be able to circulate C-sections and work in a critical access hospital setting, supporting interdisciplinary teams such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Radiology.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must include prior experience at a Providence facility if applicable, and provide two references covering the past year prior to start.
