Location: Creswell, OR (on-site) Pay: $80,000-$100,000 a year, depending on experience, plus bonus tied to safety, install quality, and repair times. Meaning, together, we're contributing 13.5% of your salary! 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision plans for employees, with affordable dependent coverage options. A company truck with a gas card, so you aren't putting miles on your own vehicle for work purposes. Free 1 Gig high-speed fiber internet if you live within our service territory. A PTO package and 10 paid holidays, including two days off for your birthday. What you'll do Lead the field team Supervise DFN's installation and repair technicians, and support splicers on maintenance work. Hire, train, and coach your team, set clear expectations, and handle performance and employee relations issues with HR's support. Train your team in DFN's customer service philosophy so every install and repair is a superior customer experience: techs who are on time, explain what they're doing, respect the home, and leave the customer confident in their service. Ride along, check work in the field, and build a team that takes pride in doing it right the first time. Keep installs and repairs moving With the scheduler, help build daily and weekly tech schedules that balance new installs, trouble tickets, and maintenance work. Watch the numbers that matter: install backlog, on-time appointments, repeat visits, repair times, and outage restoration. Spot trends, fix root causes, and recommend changes in staffing, training, or process. Work with Customer Service, Provisioning, and Network Operations so customers get one smooth experience from order to activation. Keep the network healthy Lead response to fiber cuts and outages, coordinating techs, splicers, and contractors to restore service quickly during business hours in the North territory. Techs are working from a reliable schedule. First 6 months: You're reporting weekly on install backlog, on-time appointments, and repair times. Techs know you and your expectations are clear. You're balancing field and office work appropriately. You're contributing to improvements across the department. What you bring Required 5+ years in telecom or broadband field operations (fiber, cable, or telco installation and repair), including at least 2 years leading technicians as a lead, supervisor, or manager.
