Press Brake Operator
Our client is seeking a dedicated Press Brake Operator to join their team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Hanover, PA
Shift: 1st and 2nd shift available
What's the Job?
- Set up and operate punch presses to cut, shape, and form sheet metal according to detailed drawings and specifications.
- Utilize measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and thickness gauges to verify work accuracy.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and tolerances to ensure precise manufacturing.
- Perform daily maintenance on machines and tooling to maintain optimal performance.
- Program CNC punch presses and adjust settings like ram pressure and die clearance for different metal thicknesses.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating punch presses or related manufacturing machinery.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools accurately.
- Strong understanding of punch press operation and tooling applications.
- Safety-conscious with a focus on quality standards.
- Excellent decision-making skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
