Software Engineer III, Secure Network Infrastructure

Develop services and associated client code, scripts, and tests in a variety of languages (Go, Rust, Bash, etc.) to monitor and verify the security condition of remote networking devices across the Google fleet.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, Rust, C++).Experience building distributed security systems and available services.Experience in web services related standards (e.g., REST, SOAP, and OAuth).Preferred qualifications:Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.Experience with cryptographic algorithms and protocols. Our mission is to ensure Google's network remains a trusted environment for all customers. In this role, you will be responsible for securing various network devices, including AI/ML and optical fabrics, and are working on projects such as secure device enrollment and attestation workflows. You will focus on working with internal and industry partners to continuously improve hardware security.
