Our Licensed Intake Assessor completes timely, trauma‑informed evaluations to guide the right level of care—right away—providing a calm, vigilant presence while others rest. How You Will Make a Difference Complete biopsychosocial assessments, suicide and violence risk screens (e.g., C‑SSRS), and ASAM when indicated. Obtain collateral, verify benefits, and coordinate bed placement with nursing/medical leadership. Consult with the on‑call psychiatrist/NP; formulate provisional diagnoses and recommendations. Document clearly in the EMR and communicate decisions to patients, families, and referral sources. Ensure continuity of care overnight with vigilant observation and timely documentation. Manage after‑hours admissions and urgent needs; prepare a thorough handoff to the day team. What We’re Looking For Active independent licensure (e.g., RN, Registered Nurse, or state equivalent). 1+ years acute behavioral health or crisis evaluation experience. Expertise in risk assessment, de‑escalation, and payer authorization processes.
