Field Technician Heavy Equipment Department: Service Employment Type: Full Time Location: Vermeer All Roads Description Field Technician -Heavy Equipment Chesapeake, VA | Vermeer All Roads Vermeer All Roads is searching for an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to join our team. Put your skills to work by traveling to our client's location to diagnose and repair Vermeer machinery and components in a timely manner. This position enables you to work independently and make an immediate impact! Compensation & Schedule Hourly pay: $28–$40 (based on experience) Production bonuses available Full-time schedule with flexibility – no nights or weekends Benefits Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified candidates Medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and supplemental insurance (eligible the 1st of the month after 30 days) 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off and company-paid holidays Tuition reimbursement program Employee referral bonus program Comprehensive paid training and certifications Career advancement opportunities – we promote from within Responsibilities Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems Perform welding and fabrication work as needed Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed Stay current with industry trends and technical advancements Communicate with the factory for technical support Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Must be 21 years old+ and insurable to drive by our insurance carrier Experience with hydraulics, hydrostatics, and electrical troubleshooting Welding experience preferred Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude Work Authorization/Security Clearance All Roads Company does not provide H1-B sponsorship.
