Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Painting and repairing walls, ceilings and common areas.
- Technical knowledge (building systems, repairs) Boilers, HWH, appliances.
- Problem-solving, critical thinking.
- Communication with team and upper management.
- Plumbing, electric, appliance repairs, floor striping & waxing, etc.
- Snow removal, storm response and preparation.
Qualifications:
- High School Education with a minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance and or related supervisory experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Acceptable clearance checks for State Central Registry, Driver's License and fingerprinting as required by program.
- Compliance with health regulations for physical/Mantoux testing.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to Maintenance Supervisor & Facility Manager
Work Environment:
- Must be available for work on call, it requires physical work and operating equipment. Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 3 PM to 11 PM (Off Tuesday and Wednesday)
- Ability to stand, reach, stoop, or bend climb stairs
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and require assistance if limit is exceeded.
- Ability to stand, reach, stoop, kneel or bend.
***The position requires extensive painting work and prioritizes responding to heating and cooling complaints.
Travel Required: Yes. Yes, 50% of the time
Education
Required: High School or better.
Experience
Preferred: 5 years: Experience in maintenance and or related supervisory experience.
Licenses & Certifications
Required: DRIVER'S LICENSE
