Cashier - Part Time

About the Role The Cashier provides essential customer service by processing transactions quickly and friendly, answering questions, and ensuring customers leave pleased. The role may also include duties as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate. The cashier is referred to as a Front End Team Member and reports to the store management team. Responsibilities Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, and bagging products. Answer customer inquiries and promote the loyalty program. Deliver personalized service by greeting customers, building relationships, and providing product and service information. Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge. Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs. Uphold safety and cleanliness standards across the store. Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol. Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1‑3 years of work experience, with 1+ year in a retail setting preferred. Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Must be 21 years of age or older. Physical ability to walk, bend, stand for 8‑10 hours a day, lift, load, and handle cases, pallets, and ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. overhead.
