MBOS is seeking a full time experienced Physician Biller. This important position requires experience with MEDITECH Expanse & Availity. In addition, this key individual is accountable for ensuring best practices billing for their clients, collections and follow up, and denials management for the assigned practices and specialty service lines. Specific functional areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to: posting charges, working Insurance AR follow up, ensuring compliance, direct communication with client staff, and answering in-coming calls. Must have direct billing experience with insurance companies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Firm understanding of multi-specialty physician billing practices and procedures
Strong knowledge of reimbursement rules and methodologies for physician billing

Knowledge of EHR Systems

Excellent communication and organizations skills
Working knowledge of Excel including Pivot Tables
Working knowledge of CPT/ICD-10
