Installation Technician (Low Voltage)We have an opening for an Installation Technician (Low Voltage) position working at a company located in Decatur, AL that provides data and telecommunications network installation and support. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.*** NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE ***Skills/QualificationsA valid Driver's License and clean MVR are REQUIRED.Must be physically capable of performing the following tasks:Loading and unloading materials, ladders, equipment, etc.Climbing and working on ladders.Strenuous and continuous pulling and tugging of cabling at ground-level and overhead.Must be able to read, understand, and retain information from drawings and specifications.Must have the ability to work a flexible work schedule to accommodate last-minute work orders.Ability to lift 50 lb. unassisted.Duties/ResponsibilitiesInstall cabling, based on industry-approved methods, in an underground outdoor environment in conduit, by direct burial, thru manholes/handholes, etc.Install aerial cable and guywire, based on industry-approved methods, at heights with the use of ladders and bucket trucks.Dress and terminate cabling, based on industry-approved methods, in racks/cabinets or at wall outlets.Concentrate on details of the installation to ensure successful network implementation.Select and load materials for assigned work.Unload materials, ladders, and other equipment.Use power tools, hand tools, ladders, and other equipment necessary for execution of assign tasks.Complete daily logs and workorders.Clean workspace daily.Other duties and tasks may be assigned.At our office (Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM): 607 Church Street NE, Suite C, Decatur, Alabama 35601Submit an online application via Express Pros websiteDownload the FREE ExpressJobs app on your mobile device App Store or Google PlayContact us via phone/text at View phone number on click.appcast.io, or email View email address on click.appcast.io.
