About the Role:

North Point Senior Homecare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregiver to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors in a home care setting
Monitor and document client health status and report changes to supervisors
Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
Support clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management per care plan
Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities as needed

Requirements:

Current Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred
Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a related caregiving environment
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Physically able to assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting clients
