Credentialing Coordinator
Location: West Hollywood, CA 90048 Shift: Day Shift (5x8 Hours) | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Duration: 13 Weeks / 3 months
Position Overview
The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the credentialing and privileging process for healthcare providers. This role ensures all provider credentials meet organizational and regulatory standards while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications
- Verify provider qualifications, licenses, certifications, and work history
- Maintain accurate credentialing files and databases
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Communicate with providers and internal departments regarding credentialing status
- Review and respond to detailed documentation and inquiries
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree and a minimum of 3 years of credentialing/privileging experience in a medical setting
- Flu vaccination required (no exceptions or declinations; must be completed by 10/15/2026)
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed written and verbal instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degrees
- Prior clinical experience (e.g., CNA, MA, LVN)
Additional Information
- Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment is highly preferred
