Food runner

At Toro Kitchen & Bar, a modern Spanish restaurant, our Runners are the vital link between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring every dish reaches guests quickly and accurately. You’ll help create a smooth, efficient service by delivering food with care, assisting servers, and supporting both front and back of house teams. Your energy, speed, and attention to detail help make every guest experience seamless and memorable. Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables promptly and accurately. Assist servers with clearing plates, refilling beverages, and resetting tables. Communicate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are correct and delivered on time. Support the front of house team during peak service to maintain smooth flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas and running paths. Assist with restocking napkins, silverware, and other service items. Support the kitchen team with prep or plating when needed. Skills Previous experience as a food runner, server, or in a fast‑paced restaurant preferred. Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and teamwork. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and move quickly in tight spaces. Job Settings Primarily PM shifts. Must be available for weekends, holidays, and special events.
